WHAT IS THIS STUDY ABOUT
The Women’s Mental Health Program at University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking participants that are pregnant or up to 3 months post-pregnancy for a research study related to emotions, mental health, and learning in pregnancy and postpartum period.
WHO CAN VOLUNTEER?
The Women’s Mental Health Program is looking for adults ages 18-45 with written and verbal fluency in English, who either are pregnant -or- delivered their baby within the last 3 months, or used an online source to learn about pregnancy, motherhood, or parenting.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN DURING THE STUDY?
Participation includes completing 1 phone interview to determine eligibility for this study. The study involves 2 visits on different days, the first lasting between 1-2 hours, and the second lasting between 30-60 minutes (1.5-3 hours total). Research activities will take place at the UW-Madison Department of Psychiatry, virtually, or a combination of both.
Participants will be compensated up to $50 for completing the study.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW:
Taking part in research is voluntary. You can choose not to be in this study, or stop at any time. If you decide not to be in this study, your choice will not affect your healthcare or any services you receive. There will be no penalty to you. You will not lose medical care or any legal rights. You don’t have to be in this study to get care for your health condition.
